Acceptable Use Policy
Menteez
Menteez is for one family's children to practise their schoolwork. These rules exist so that it stays useful and affordable for everyone using it. They are short and we think they are reasonable.
Operated by Spherical-Lab Innovation Private Limited. These rules form part of our Terms & Conditions.
1. Your account is yours
One account is for one parent or guardian and their own children.
- Do not share your login, your password, or your PIN with anyone outside your household.
- Do not create profiles for children who are not in your care. When you add a child you are confirming you are their parent or lawful guardian, and we keep a record of that confirmation.
- Keep your PIN away from your children. It is what stops them reaching your billing and settings.
- Tell us promptly if you think someone else has got into your account.
2. Please do not
- Resell or redistribute worksheets, questions or explanations from Menteez, whether free or for payment.
- Bulk-download or scrape content, or use automated tools to pull questions out of the service.
- Copy the question bank into another product, a coaching class handout, or a printed book.
- Get around limits, such as trial entitlements or the number of children on a plan.
- Attempt to break in, probe for weaknesses, or access another family's data.
- Reverse-engineer the service or interfere with how it works.
- Impersonate somebody else, including pretending to be a school or a parent you are not.
- Use Menteez for anything unlawful, or to harm anyone.
3. About the content
The questions, explanations and worksheets on Menteez belong to us. You may use them for your own children's learning, including printing them at home. That is what they are for.
You may not use them commercially, and you may not present them as your own.
4. About your children's use
Menteez is designed to be used by children under your supervision. Their profile can only reach their own worksheets, and nothing else.
Please help us by:
- Keeping your PIN private.
- Taking a look at what your child is practising from time to time.
- Telling us if you see something inappropriate or wrong. See our AI Usage & Responsible AI Policy.
There is no chat, no messaging and no way for your child to contact another user on Menteez. We built it that way on purpose.
5. Schools and institutions
If you use Menteez through a school or tuition centre, these rules apply to you as well, and your institution's agreement with us adds to them. Institutions may not upload details of students they have no lawful basis to share with us.
6. If these rules are broken
We would rather ask than act. Depending on what has happened, we may:
- Contact you to sort it out. This is what we will normally do.
- Suspend the account temporarily where something needs to stop immediately.
- Close the account for serious or repeated breaches.
If we close your account, we will tell you why, and you may appeal to our Grievance Officer. Deletion of your data then follows our Account Deletion Policy and Data Retention Policy.
Where an account is closed for a serious breach of these rules, any remaining paid period is not refundable. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
7. Telling us about a problem
If you see something wrong, whether it is a bad question, misuse of the service, or a security issue, please tell us:
| Issue Type | Contact / Details |
|---|---|
| General and content problems | [INSERT: SUPPORT EMAIL] |
| Security issues | [INSERT: SUPPORT EMAIL], marked "Security". Please tell us privately first and give us a reasonable chance to fix it. |
| Privacy and data protection | grievance@menteez.in (we respond within 7 days) |
8. Changes
We will update this page if these rules change, and note the date below. If a change materially restricts what you can do, we will tell you before it takes effect.
